Shinya Tsukamoto's Tetsuo: The Iron Man is an iconic black-and-white science fiction feature in which the filmmaker unleashed two of his lifelong passions - fetishism and mutant beings. A supremely surreal romp involving the transformation of a man into a walking scrap metal monster, it takes its inspiration from Kafka and the director's filmmaking role model Jan Svankmajer.
